Cook Vineyard Management was established to provide vineyard services to the wine industry of California. Since our inauguration we have successfully developed and managed vineyards throughout Sonoma, Napa, Mendocino, Marin and Contra Cost Counties. We are also well known for our olive and fruit tree management. Cook Vineyard Management is a farm labor contractor licensed under the State of California Department of Industrial Relations Division of Labor Standards Enforcement and the U.S. Department of Labor.
David Cook, Founder and President
David Cook was born in 1966 in Willows, California and is a fourth generation farmer. His career started in 1981 after his father's death. At age 15 he took over the family farming operations and has been responsible for growing over fifty different crops in his agriculture career.
In 1995 David moved to the wine country and continued his passion of farming. In 2006 he celebrated his 100th vineyard development. He is the founder and CEO of Cook Vineyard Management and is fully involved in the day to day vineyard operations. In 2008 he released his wine label, David Cook 2006 Syrah that was grown in two vineyards he developed in 2002. David enjoys teaching people about the importance of agriculture, he is active in community organizations, and donates his time to many charities that feed those in need.
- David serves on the Board of Trustees of the Sonoma Valley Chamber of Commerce.
- He is an active member of the Sonoma Valley Vintners and Growers Alliance and the
Sonoma County Farm Bureau.
Dino Amantite
Viticulturist and Director of Vineyard Operations
Dino Amantite is a fourth generation grape grower. At the age of 13, he began working on the family's Pagani Ranch in Glen Ellen, and he continues managing the ranch to this day. Residing in Kenwood with his wife and two sons, Dino has a strong love of the land and the great outdoors.
For nineteen years, Dino worked at St. Francis Winery and Vineyards, where he served as the Vineyard Manager and Director of Grower Relations.
Dino is proud to have joined CVM Grapes in June of 2009. He looks forward to using his wide array of skills and experience to help bring Cook Vineyard Management to an even higher level of vineyard success. 
Don Cook
Director of Farming Operations
Known by clients and close friends as "Donnie," Don Cook joined CVM in 2005.
He is responsible for all farming operations and transportation services.
Donnie is also a realtor in Sonoma Valley--and of course David's brother.
Jenny Irving, Assistant to the President
Jennifer Irving comes to CVM Grapes with more than twelve years of experience in communications, client relations, and special events planning.
Jenny grew up in Sonoma and has a degree in Communications and Public Relations from the University of Rhode Island.
She is a parent of two school-aged children, an avid runner and a wine enthusiast.
Shari Francois, Business Administrator
Shari is involved in the day-to-day business operations.
She brings over a decade of experience in human resources, accounting and project management.
Besides that she is a lovely individual and we are lucky to have her.
Ismael Yuriar
Vineyard Managers and Developments Supervisor
Ismael Yuriar moved to Sonoma Valley in 1995 and is responsible for vineyard developments and production in established vineyards. He has worked with David for the past 13 years.
Jesus Cardenas, Vineyard Manager
Jesus moved to Sonoma Valley in 2000 and is responsible for production in established vineyards.
Leopoldo Tellez, Vineyard Manager
Leopoldo Tellez moved to Sonoma Valley in 1995 and is responsible for production in established vineyards. He started working with David in 1998.
Ramiro Garcia, Orchard Manager
Ramiro Garcia moved to Sonoma Valley in 1995 and is responsible for production in established fruit trees and olive orchards. He has worked with David for the past 13 years.
